Volunteers

Age Concern North Lincolnshire relies almost completely on the good will of volunteers as it continues with its work in our community. Volunteers are in fact, the life blood of our Age Concern group and we could not operate without them.

Could You Become A Volunteer?

People wishing to do voluntary work with Age Concern North Lincolnshire can in the main, choose what type of work they would like to do and for how many hours a week they would like to do it:

Pop-In-Parlour
Some volunteers choose to serve meals and prepare snacks in the Pop-In-Parlour, this being an environment where they can chat and be a friend to our elderly customers.

Drivers
Some volunteers drive our Disabled Passenger Transport vehicles, taking the elderly to supermarkets, garden centres and many other locations.

Administration
We have volunteers working behind the scenes on administration matters and on our advice and information service.

We are always looking for volunteers, young or old; people willing and able to help with our work and commitment to the elderly. If you are interested please contact us.
